Consultations
A consultation with Designing Works allows an objective professional with a well trained eye, to offer feedback on a property. It includes a complete walk through of the property, assessing everything from curb appeal to furniture placement, to ideas for simple changes, repairs and paint. A consultation report can offer a starting place with room-by-room recommendations, along with any costs associated with the room. At this point budgets and areas of influence are discussed and a plan is developed and implemented.
Interior Design
We create the environment and feeling for how you live and how you want the space to feel. Current furnishings are incorporated into the plan, and we enhance the look and feel through furniture placement, space optimization and accessorizing. We can work on a project basis or an hourly basis.
Interior Redesign
Redesign is for the homeowner who isn’t selling, but would like to refresh and update the furnishings and accessories in their home. This process helps the homeowner “fall in love with their home again” by beautifying the space thru color, function and form. Designing Works is trained to transform your home into a fresh place where you will love to live by repurposing and repositioning your own furnishings. Through our proven techniques of editing and repurposing home furnishings, homeowners are consistently amazed and overjoyed at the “new home” look and feel after our designers complete the redesign.
The Interior Redesign Process
Prior to the redesign day, a preview of the home takes place assessing the homeowners priorities and function of the space. The home will be “shopped” by the designer to determine what items can be repurposed and if there are any additional items that may be needed. On the day of the redesign, the homeowner will leave while the designers return to transform the space. At this point designers will arrange furnishings, lighting, art and accessories in the most aesthetically pleasing and comfortable style, based upon the architectural details of the space. Redesign changes the look and feel of a home in just one day, making it warm and inviting!
Remodeling
Our remodeling services will help you fall back in love with your home. We combine the expertise of all our other services to help bring the life back to any room. Using our expertise in color and form, we’ll help reconfigure the layout or basic pieces of the room to bring a modern yet timeless look to the space.
We also focus on function when remodeling your home. We create designs that will last for life that are perfectly curated to complement your life.
A consultation will help us get a feel for your specific needs, wants, and style. We’ll make room-by-room recommendations and provide cost estimates associated with the project. We’ll discuss budget and develop a plan. We’ll hire the highest caliber of contractor partners to bring the plan to fruition. And when it’s all said and done, we’ll use our interior design expertise to deliver a before-and-after remodel you’ll have to see with your own eyes to believe!
